Terra Nova TV Series

Steven Spielberg and Fox are partnering to bring us a high-budget new science-fiction TV series titled Terra Nova. The show is written by Craig Silverstein and Kelly Marcel, based on Marcel's story idea. Fox Entertainment is producing the show and Steven Spielberg is executive producer.

Terra Nova is set to follow a a family from 100 years in the future who travel back in time 150 million years to the strange and inhospitable environs of prehistoric Earth.

The project received a 13-episode commitment from Fox and filming will likely begin in Australia at the end of Summer 2010. Heard that Alex Graves (who directed the pilot of Fringe) has been hired to direct the first episode which is actually the pilot of Terra Nova.
